georginaburnettWhen I asked Karen for a marathon training plan, I didn’t give her an easy job as I was travelling a lot and going on holiday 3 weeks before the event, but she gave me a plan that really worked for me and encouraged me to train even through the difficult times. Her support along the way was like gold to me, and I am convinced I would not have achieved the time I did without her help. I managed to complete the marathon, injury free, in 3 hours 45 minutes (5 minutes faster than I was hoping for and knocking 19 mins off my PB!) and can’t wait for my next race.
